Regretfully, "S" and I have decided to put THE RECEiVER PROJECT on INDEFINITE HIATUS. We have decided to do this only after much deliberation, and we believe it is the best course of action given our present workload has increased dramatically over the last two years. So much so that we cannot reasonably keep up with the project while adhering to our own guidelines and desires."S" loathed the idea of shelving the project, but after conferring with a few others on the matter, it became clear it was the best thing to do for everyone involved. We had a lot of fun working on the series, and we sincerely hope you had fun, too!Maybe we didn't reach the peak of the mountain, but we sure as hell got off the ground —
and learned a lot along the way.
Maybe most people don't even make it that far, especially on their first time, but we're so glad we could climb the summit with you.Below are a few more key reasons for the hiatus:
- the project growing far beyond our initial plan
- pursuit of the future (writing career + networking)

THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT...
When combat starts, a FIGHT CONDUCTOR will be chosen at random from the Transmitters among you.
A FIGHT CONDUCTOR's commands are executed every turn automatically, when all other commands are exhausted, until they can no longer be executed.
In this case, Liv will ATTACK each turn until she can no longer attack for any reason.
Liv's name will be marked in ocean blue, whereas ALLIES are highlighted in sky blue. ENEMY names are highlighted in red.
Each turn, the largest threat in Liv's party will be marked with a blue diamond (🔹). The party member with the 🔹 icon means they are drawing the most AGGRO in combat, and will be more easily targeted by enemies.
SKILLS are marked in jade green and, with few exceptions, will only be used when the appropriate command is given. Liv MUST have the skill equipped in order to use it, and each skill has its own cooldown before it can be used again.
Combat will persist until either side is defeated and can no longer fight. End of Combat status is marked in purple. Some fights may persist between chapters, so take care to plan your commands in advance!
Liv must read the SKILL BOOKS in her possession in order to learn them, and then she must spend the appropriate SKILL POINTS in order to equip them! Liv can find SKILL BOOKS in the world...
...or by creating them yourself, and GIFTING them to fromTheDeskOfLANGLEY (/slumbrrr)!
Liv trusts you, and will heed most commands even outside of combat, unless she really can't.
Liv will always act FIRST in combat, unless she really can't. The mind of a RECEIVER is nothing to be underestimated...
